Immediately following part extraction from the die, degating and trimming is done within the manufacturing cell, yielding a fully-formed, near net shape part. Vibratory tumbling deburs and cleans each part prior to further manufacturing operations.

Depending on part specifications, secondary operations may then include:

• Full T4, T5 or T6 heat treatment
• Machining (CNC) - milling, drilling, grinding, turning, boring, broaching
• Joining - welding, brazing, soldering, adhesive and/or diffusion bonding
• Finishing - polishing, plating, anodizing, painting, burnishing, coatings
